“Proprietor Stéphane Droulers consistently makes one of the finest wines of Fronsac. The 2005 Haut-Carles is a gorgeous wine with an inky purple color and a sweet nose of black raspberries and blueberries. It has loads of minerality, stunning concentration, richness and a floral background. Very impressive, this majestic Fronsac should come into its own in another 4-5 years and last at least two more decades.”
