| Tasting Notes: | Tasted at Château Figeac, the 2011 La Fleur Pourret has a simple, smudged strawberry bouquet. The palate is quite sweet on the entry and with a Burgundy-like fruit profile. Though not terribly complex, one can appreciate the purity of this 2011, although the lack of depth on the finish means that I would be drinking this over the next 3-4 years, not longer. Tasted June 2015. |
