Grape Varieties:60 % Cabernet Sauvignon – 33 % Merlot – 5 % Cabernet Franc – 2 % Petit Verdot
Tasting Notes:

It is made within a parcel of Château Monbrison in Margaux. It shows a deep garnet color, with intense aromas of cassis, blackberries, and brambles. This is all joined by a tomato leaf and a ripe green pepper note. Aromas of vanilla complement the whole. In the palate the wine has high acidity, it is medium to full bodied, and shows coarse tannins. Medium finish, elegant and pleasant. This is a wine that can be enjoyed better with food, along a cheese plate, a burrata with olive oil, or pasta dishes with a good amount of parmigiano. For meat amateurs, this can be a very good option to go along an aged steak. -Nadia Sanchez
